Heather is the founder and director of Path to Change, LLC. She graduated with her master's in clinical counseling from Eastern University in 2001. Her 20+ years of counseling include work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose work is grounded in her faith in Jesus Christ. In addition, she is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, mentoring future generations of counselors.

Heather finds great fulfillment and joy in walking alongside hurting people on their healing journey. Heather's areas of expertise include a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder, codependency, identity issues, parenting struggles, trauma, couples counseling, and coping with a spouse's-sexual addiction.

Heather has advanced training in methods effective for trauma, including Progressive Counting, EMDR, and the Flash Technique.   In addition, she is a Certified Grief Specialist and a Level 2 Trained Internal Family Systems Therapist. She is also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.

In addition to counseling and supervising other counselors, Heather greatly enjoys offering training in the community in her areas of expertise.

Heather has been married for over twenty-five years and has four children. Heather and her husband have been foster parents. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors or by the fire when it is too cold. She treasures time with her family and always has way too many books she wants to read.
