Austin Mueller

Intern

Austin Mueller, Path to Change Therapist

Austin has volunteered in ministry settings to help lead and mentor the next generation of young men. During this mentoring, Austin began to dive into the hearts and minds of young men and saw the deep mental struggles many of them had. This is where Austin’s heart for counseling was initially formed. Since that time, and after going through this degree and spending time with clients, Austin has developed a love for working with men of all ages on topics of anxiety, depression, LBGTQ+, life transitions, trauma, and more. Also, through experience with clients, Austin has also developed a love for couples and marital counseling. It is important to note that Austin has a desire and passion for working through faith-based struggles. Austin’s faith is a large part of who he is today, so it has become a passion of his to help people navigate their own beliefs. However, it is important to note that Austin does not want those passions to be limited and would love to work with anyone desiring help.

Austin is in the last two semesters of his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Before this, Austin obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia.

In his free time, Austin enjoys physical fitness, rock climbing, fishing, reading, watching movies, and playing video games. Regardless of the activity, he most values spending time with friends and family.
