Emily aspires to see healing in the midst of broken stories through the redemptive, saving power of Jesus Christ. Emily’s heartfelt desire is to create a safe and comfortable environment for her clients where they will be accepted as they are, as well as empowered and encouraged to be all they were created to be.
Emily has experience working with children, teenagers, families, and couples. She partners with individuals and adolescents focusing on anxiety, depression, codependency, low self-esteem, family of origin issues, and/or questions of faith.
Additionally, Emily holds a specific desire for partnering with those who have experienced trauma or abuse. She is confident in her client’s ability to grow, heal and rewrite their story by making meaning out of their darkest experiences.
Emily earned a Masters in Marriage and Family therapy with a certificate in Trauma Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, located in Atlanta, Georgia. She is licensed as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselor.
Emily is married to Dalton, and they enjoy spending time in the mountains, playing games with friends, cooking together and reading.
